A few years ago, in 1999, when she was about 4 years old (~and nice and slim~) ... Singapore Telecommunications celebrated their 120th anniversary by having a competition which featured about 10 t.v. commercials that were put up for vote to the public, to choose the winner.
The commercial below was titled 'SASHA', and eventho it wasn't the winning one, we were so proud of her coz she behaved so well throughout the shoot.
Some of you may remember this series of about 10 commercials, which were, to name a few :
- 'Pager Girl', - 'Kachang Puteh Man', and - 'Sleepover'.
Sasha went through no less than 20 takes, over and over again, with great patience and grace; I guess she didn't mind as she was working with a pretty good-looking talent ... :)
It was fun for us to have a professional film director, t.v. crew, cameras, film equipment et'al in our home, not to mention having a star in our midst.
Sasha ... we miss you, and you will always, ALWAYS be OUR STAR !!

(p.s. if anyone's thinking that she lost her two front teeth ... that's a nope ... she's got two tiny little baby teeth just peeping through her gums ... )

Thanks so much for your wishes ... they say that time will heal ... Sasha had a beautiful and gentle aura about her, and though it'll take some time to heal ... we're managing.
Wonderful memories still hold us close to her.
