Little Miss Tania - with the post-op. crooked, unequal hips and 4-year old Miss Suki (with red collar) with the broken tail. Can you see how Suki's tail sorta humps and is "broken" where the dark coloured notch of hair is?
Apparently the first vet Suki saw wanted to cut her tail off (gasp!), but after seeking another opinion, the second vet recommended NOT to do anything as she wasn't in dire pain. Suki's owner decided to keep that beautiful fanned tail on & her family just has to be very cautious around that area, that's all ... and thank goodness for that! How could you deprive a Retriever of its naturally fanned out tail??? NO WAY!
