with a few steps through Singapore Customs (yup, that's us going through).Had a wonderful time overseas, settling my daughter in for the next exciting phase of her life ... Uni.
Enjoyed the lovely weather, big scrumptious breakfasts, shopping for additional clothes for her (esp. with the irresistible 40-60-80% discounts ), and teaching her her fave dishes in her little kitchenette.
I was amazed at how quickly she picked up family favourites like beef stew, pork rib soups, simple roasts & stir fry dishes. Haha , she's already come up with some of her own dishes ..... yup, necessity is the mother of invention :)
Saying good-bye at the airport & leaving her behind was really hard, and for those of you who know me well ... yes, it was a tearful affair ..........
Wish I could have stayed longer .... sigh ....

And of course, we couldn't let her leave without celebrating her 21st Birthday with close family & receiving her 'key to freedom' .....
