Request for a Birthday Gift Necklace with a Peranakan flavour for a Peranakan lady.

The first thing that came to mind were the brightly coloured ornate tiles on the facade of Peranakan homes, designs of which were an inter-marriage of East and West. Turning immediately to my stash of Karin's gorgeous Polymer Clay Beads, I found the perfect design in the bright vibrant colours of mustard yellow, red and green - yes, especially the red flower !

The East/West fusion of a German-made tile with Asian elements like Yellow Butter Jade, Green Aventurine, Red Sponge Coral and gold filigreed bead-caps for more 'pernakan ornateness' morphed HELENE effortlessly into a Pernakan looking necklace. How cool is that :) I'm sure A.H. is gonna love wearing this piece with her traditional kebayas as well as her modern pieces.

TRAMONTO

Inspired by the SUNSET shared with my husband when we visited Italy last year, TRAMONTO starts off with 14K gold-filled ear-hooks, followed by a trail of sunset colours of shaded Carnelians, shaded Pink Tourmalines, teeny smooth Rhodolite Garnets, linked to the ear-hooks by pretty little swarovski connectors, in the softest yellow. A pair of lovely smooth Carnelian briolettes hang off these sunset-trails like the last drops of sun to go down that evening. 14K gold-filled throughout.

XYLIA Necklace - Sold

The XYLIA necklace, is very simple in design, and can be used in so many ways, to evoke different looks.

Here, I've presented it in a Peranakan way, with a Kebaya blouse, again using almost the same elements as the XYLIA bracelet, but this time with all 14K Gold-filled spacer beads, chains & components; GP Rollo Chain.

Green Aventurine Bamboo-shaped beads, Karin's vibrantly beautiful polymer clay pillows and a short cascade of natural red coral.

The necklace can be worn short, or a little longer as you like.

TRINA Pendant - Custom Order

This was a request from the special lady who got the 'TRINA' ear-rings from me last June, for a matching pendant, but a little more on the "plumperlicious" side.

A slightly bigger, but similar faceted soft minty green Prehnite briolette is topped with a lovely cluster of shaded pink Sapphires, shaded Tourmalines in Greens and Pinks/ Burgundy, Carnelians and Moonstone Rondelles.

14K Goldfill wire & accents throughout.

Just nice for this sweet and petite lady !

Chablis 2 - Custom Order

Custom request for a pair of "bunchy" grape cluster earrings, based on an earlier pair I sold a few months ago, which was petite & dainty as compared to this set.

A small topping of shaded faceted olive/moss coloured Vesuvenite & light to dark honey-toned Hessonite faceted rondelles set off these "grape bunches" loaded with lovely freshwater pearls.

Was in such a hurry this morning to get Tania to the pool, that I rushed the shot with my daughter (as the Princess was waiting eagerly in the car) and had to do the close-ups at the pool .....

A beautiful pair of 8mm Balinese Silver Beads have been accented with faceted citrine rondelles and 14K Gold-filled beads.
925 Silver throughout, including Balinese silver ear-hooks.

These soft-spoken pretties have a drop of approx. 2.5 cm without the ear-hooks.

TRINA - Sold

A little cluster of faceted multi-shaded tourmalines, citrines and moonstones, sit atop lovely soft minty Prehnite briolettes, plus a little touch of tourmaline at the top of the 14K Gold-filled spiral tube.
Ear-hooks and all accents are 14K Gold-filled (drop of approx. 4.5 cm including the ear-hook).

AMY - Sold

Strands of cherry quartz, garnets, faceted citrine rondells, tiny smooth olivine/green tourmalines, pink tourmalines and lots of 14K gold-filled teeny beads meet in the middle, with a 15x15mm smooth, glossy Kamoe Clay floral tile, which pulls all these colours together effortlessly.

'AMY' was of course inspired by this - yes - another inherited Nonya Peranakan Kebaya blouse. Its an old piece and the embroidery is exquisite.(see pix of Kebaya blouse below).

Lots of 14K gold-filled here, in the form of many teeny beads at both ends of each strand, melon beads, lobster clasp, extension chain. ALL findings/accents are 14K GF.

Would fit a wrist from as dainty as 5-1/2 in. and can be adjusted up to an 8 in. wrist. Closes with a 14K Gold-filled lobster clasp.

Another inherited nonya kebaya from my MIL. Inspiration for this bracelet of course. Kamoe Clay floral tile, smooth cherry quartz beads, garnets, teeny tourmalines, faceted citrine for subtle sparkle, and teeny 14K GF beads at the centre flanking the clay tile.
This bracelet will fit a wrist from as little as 5-1/2 in. and can be adjusted up to an 8 in. wrist. Closes with a 14K Gold-filled lobster clasp;

THALIA is a gold-filled link chain bracelet with a lovely Black Agate twist bead as the central focal (13 x 18mm), surrounded by clusters of yellow jade beads (6 mm) on one side and three plump faceted smoky quartz rondells on the other. Toggle, spacers and all accents here are gold-filled.
Measures almost 7-1/2 " including the toggle.
