What do you do when someone you love dearly is ill and is trying to get back on the road to recovery ???
Easy enuf question to answer ..... you give them as much tender loving care and attention as you can.
My Dad has been really ill for the past few weeks, and being the gentle, tender person that he is, the one who taught me that some of the most important virtues in life are kindness, thinking of others first before self, and giving in to others when necessary ~ ~ you do everything you can, to make every day a happy one for him, and shower him with as much love as possible.
Additionally, for those of you who know my darling Golden Retriever, ~ SASHA ~, well, she's slowing down and is not too well either. She still has her healthy appetite but has to lose more weight due to the pressure on her arthritic hind legs. Other complications that come along with being a mature dog have also cropped up, but she still wears her sweet smiling face for us all the time.
They say that "A Jack Of All Trades Is A Master Of None". I know that I can't do it all, and have obviously chosen to concentrate on getting Dad and my best friend and loyal companion - Sasha - back on track. I therefore have to put this blog on hold until such time as I can get back to it.
Its been really fun, fun, fun for me these past few months on my blog, and I'd like to thank all of you who have been supporting me and sending me your nice e-mails. Please don't stop "talking" to me as I really do enjoy hearing from you. I may be able to post messages whenever I can, so do "check in" if you can :)
Until I'm able to get back on, I hope that every day will be a blessing for you... and be happy - always.
Me :)
