Silver Pods Necklace

Remember the Balsam plants most of us had growing in our gardens and also in School? We had so much fun poking their ripened seed pods and watching them split open explosively, scattering their cute dark seeds everywhere.

These lovely Silver Artisan Hand-Coiled "Pods", in fine 925 silver transported me back to my fun childhood days when making this necklace, and I've added deep burgundy faceted Garnet rondelles reminiscent of the seeds, and sprinklings of creamy freshwater pearls along multiple silver chains.
A sweet, under-stated piece, that closes behind with a toggle clasp.
Made this necklace way back in May, and with everything that's going on here, was lucky enough to get my little model to help me out with this pix before she SIN left for her studies.

SKY Earrings - $36 - Heart-shaped - Sold

"SKY" is exactly the same as "SCARLETTE" below, except that they have been fitted with gorgeous BLUE CHALCEDONY smooth stones. Beautifully light and fresh looking. They are also 925 silver twisted HEARTS; and hand-woven with 925 silver wire.
These silver HEARTS are gently puffy in the centre, and measure approx. 15mm in diameter & height.925 silver ear-hooks as well. (Artisan made).

SCARLETTE Earrings - $36 - Heart-shaped - Sold

These 925 silver twisted HEARTS have been hand-woven with 925 silver wire to create these pretty earrings. Like drops of burgundy wine, rich coloured smooth GARNETS have been added for a dressy look.
These silver HEARTS are gently puffy in the centre, and measure approx. 15mm in diameter & height.925 silver ear-hooks as well. (Artisan made).

Another pair of 925 silver and mother-of-pearl danglies with a drop of just over 1-1/2 inches. These measure about 4 mm at the base. Again, a very sweet and pretty pair. Also a nice thick layer of silver under the mother-of-pearl and slightly rounded from side to side. Handcrafted.

A dainty, slim pair of danglies in 925 silver and white & soft pink mother-of pearl. These have a total drop of just over 1-1/2 inches, and a dia. of 2mm. A thick layer of 925 silver lays under the mother-of-pearl, which gives this pair a sleek, but "solid" feel to them. Pretty. Handcrafted.

ANTHEA - S$38 - Sold

ANTHEA is a gorgeous artisan hand-crafted mother-of-pearl and 925 silver pendant with black resin onyx. It features two flowers and a butterfly resting on the black flower within the pendant.
The little white butterfly at the top is the bale, and "movable" .... how cute is that.
At a very wearable size of 1-3/4 in. tall (including the little butterfly on top) and 1-1/4 in. in diameter, this pendant looks great as it is "dome-shaped"/curved from side to side.

ALAMANDA - S$49 (Sold)

These are Balinese "harmony bells" which my husband and I got from Bali on a holiday there not too long ago. I've have requests to make them into earrings, so here they are. This pair features a floral design (looking very much like the Alamanda, which is so lush all over Bali).

Three reddish brown Moroccan agate beads top each silver floral "globe" (about 1/2 in. dia.), which would fit snugly under your ear-lobes at a drop of 1-1/4 in. from top of ear-hook. The sound from the chimes is really very subtle, and is practically unnoticeable.

All accents are 925 silver.

If you remember, sometime back, I put up two other designs (paisley and the intricate filigreed vermeil ones on silver key-rings). This floral design has not been featured yet.
