'Smoke on the Water' Set

With the luxury of time on my hands, thanks to a 'bum foot', its been great catching up on reading, listening to music, sleep, and the not so fun, but necessary pile of filing.

Listening to Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water" inspired these earrings and the matching bracelet which is 'almost done', using Hexagonal Smokey Quartz with Apatite, Brazilian Onyx, Blue-flash Moonstone & Labradorite Rondelles, accented with Balinese 925 Daisy wheels, pins & ear-hooks.

DEWDROPS - Custom

2 pairs of 'DEWDROP' earrings with two different "moods"......

One pair with the feel of romance & "smell of rain" still in the air; with a drizzling of AB Hematite reflective Swarovski Crystals over big brushed silver "drops"
and the other, with Aqua Swarovski Briolettes like fresh morning dew.

Both with similar pretty filigreed "flowers" with a single czech crystal in the centre.

Its Lunar New Year's Eve, and what better way to welcome the new Year of the Rabbit, with SPRING POSIES, a pair of earrings in the bright auspicious colours of reds and golds.

Once again the familiar profusion of bright & exciting colours of flowers, kumquats, goodies, lanterns abundantly surround us !

SPRING POSIES comprises 14K gold vermeil crystal studded Flower ear-posts (think chrysanthemums, peach blossoms, azaleas, orchids ....... ), with a bountiful posy of Shaded Carnelians, Tourmalines, blue-flash Moonstones, Freshwater Pearls, and soft minty Prehnite, above gorgeously red faceted Beryl Briolettes.

Total drop is approx. 3.5 cm.

LILLYBETH Earrings

Spring blooms in flowery pinks, reds, tangerine ... so lovely for the upcoming Spring Festival at the beginning of February or whenever ... :)

These Polymer Clay Beads, from Karin, have been topped with petite blue-flash labradorite rondelles for a sweet pair of earrings to dangle just under your lobes. Approx. 15mm in dia.

In this Special Set, comes a matching Heart Focal with these beads, into which I've made a necklace (in the background), and will upload this soon.

Karin's Clay for (2010) Xmas gifts .....

The past 1-1/2 years or so have been pretty unproductive for me on the handcrafted side with so much of my time devoted to Tania's rehab. after her numerous operations.

During this time, of course, I've been hoarding Karin's clay beads, but managed to make a few pieces for Xmas. Friends and relatives who flew in for the Season, who had never seen Karin's gorgeous beads before, instantly fell in love with them and snapped them up for gifts.

With Karin's well-thought out colours, swirls, twirls and silver dust, not much additional enhancements were needed as their beauty speak for themselves. In all humility, I have to say that Belinda has done much more justice to these clay pretties than me (yes Madame Belinda ... I am your very ardent admirer ... heh heh) .... but there's nothing like people from other countries enjoying these clay beauties with fresh eyes. Haven't uploaded photos of a couple of other pieces, but will try to soon.
I hope this will make Karin very happy, and I have a few more orders for more pieces :) Thank you Karin !

Here, we have : Luna, Sparkling, Ayala & Piper - SOLD OUT

LUNA (S$26) holds her own in shades of champagne, stacked upwards with Bright Gold Swarovski Pearls (8 & 4mm), with a crystal studded ring in between, Swarovski Crystals in Dorado and AB Crystal. Floral beadcaps, daisy wheels and all accents are 14K gold-plated. Approx. 3 cm long (w/out earhooks).

SPARKLING (S$25) - Lovely Swarovski Crystal Golden Shadow AB Pear-shaped drops (6mm) hang below crystal studded rings like happy bubbles surfacing to the top. Approx. 3.5 mm (w/out the ear-hooks).

AYALA (S$23) - Really sweet Filigree Flower inlaid with a single cubic zirconia sits atop large but lightweight 14K gold-plated brushed gold drops. Again, approx. 3 cm w/out ear-hooks. Simple, but quite a stunner this one.

And PIPER (S$19) - Well, she's the most petite of the lot, if you like your ear-rings that way. Again, the same delicate-looking 14K gold-plated Filigree Flowers with inlaid cubic zirconia crystal, trimmed with lovely creamy freshwater pearls for added femininity.

Request for a Trillium ROSE Set with petite short chain, to which I've added green onyx and peridot rondelles, which meet in the middle with a single moonstone, followed by the trail of Trillium ROSE gemmies and enamelled/sterling silver Trillium flower. Closes with a Balinese Silver Toggle Clasp.
The earrings have been kept simple with matching rondelles & freshwater pearls, but without the Trillium flower charm, so that this set would be "in balance" when worn together.

Trillium ROSE & Trillium JAUNE Earrings - S$42, Necklace - S$26 - SOLD

... are a pair of demure and feminine earrings, featuring a trail of Citrine & Green Onyx (in Trillium Jaune) & Rose Garnet & Green Onyx faceted rondelles (in Trillium Rose).

My husband remarked that they're quite Peranakan looking, so I photographed them with a Kebaya, and they turned out to be quite an enchanting match. I'm sorry that I had to hang the ear-rings in a odd way on the "neck", but it was the only way to give you an idea of how they'd look together with the necklace/kebaya, and an idea of the size.

I've also made a matching necklace in faceted round Grade A Green Onyx, keeping it plain so that it won't detract from the ear-rings, or overpower the look, if worn together.

I can't believe that this time last year, I was on holiday in Italy with my husband, enjoying the cool weather and Autumn colours in all their glory ... How I wish we were back there right now.
VENETIA here, starts off with beautifully detailed 14K Gold-filled Maple Leaves, followed by a glorious drape of gemmies, in Autumn-y shades of mostly Natural Jade, Red Aventurine, faceted Hessonite and Carnelian. For the finishing touch, this Autumn "fall" ends with a beautifully faceted clear Beryl briolette in mossy green, which looks lovely when it catches the light.
Ear-hooks, Chains are 14K Goldfilled, and each bead has been individually hand wrapped with handmade Gold Vermeil pins.

With the ear-hooks, these danglies fall at approx. 4 cm excluding the chain

Berry Reverie

Day-dreaming of a tall crystal glass of your fave cool drink, brimming over with delightful berries, cream and crushed ice for refreshment on hot, sunny days ???

A Berry Reverie alright ... Elegant Garnet Cabochons encased in 925 silver, from which hang a generous topping of Freswater Pearls, blue-flash Moonstones, Rhodolite Garnets, and deep burgundy Garnet rondelles. Beautiful faceted twisted Crystal Quartz brios. complete this set of danglies.

All accents are Handmade Balinese 925 silver.

TRAMONTO

Inspired by the SUNSET shared with my husband when we visited Italy last year, TRAMONTO starts off with 14K gold-filled ear-hooks, followed by a trail of sunset colours of shaded Carnelians, shaded Pink Tourmalines, teeny smooth Rhodolite Garnets, linked to the ear-hooks by pretty little swarovski connectors, in the softest yellow. A pair of lovely smooth Carnelian briolettes hang off these sunset-trails like the last drops of sun to go down that evening. 14K gold-filled throughout.

Chablis 2 - Custom Order

Custom request for a pair of "bunchy" grape cluster earrings, based on an earlier pair I sold a few months ago, which was petite & dainty as compared to this set.

A small topping of shaded faceted olive/moss coloured Vesuvenite & light to dark honey-toned Hessonite faceted rondelles set off these "grape bunches" loaded with lovely freshwater pearls.

Woven "diamonds" are 1 inch tall x 3/4 inch dia., and hang from a 1 inch long fine chain.

Total length, including the ear-hook is approx. 2-1/2 inches (almost 6.5 cm), and 2 inches (approx. 5 cm) without.

A beautiful pair of 8mm Balinese Silver Beads have been accented with faceted citrine rondelles and 14K Gold-filled beads.

The cutest 925 Silver Handcrafted Pendants and Earrings with a single bright blue stabilized Howlite Stone weaved within 925 Silver Hoops.
Hand-weaved wire is very, very fine, and nice and light for wearing comfort.

"SKY" is exactly the same as "SCARLETTE" below, except that they have been fitted with gorgeous BLUE CHALCEDONY smooth stones. Beautifully light and fresh looking. They are also 925 silver twisted HEARTS; and hand-woven with 925 silver wire.
These silver HEARTS are gently puffy in the centre, and measure approx. 15mm in diameter & height.925 silver ear-hooks as well. (Artisan made).

SCARLETTE Earrings - $36 - Heart-shaped - Sold

These 925 silver twisted HEARTS have been hand-woven with 925 silver wire to create these pretty earrings. Like drops of burgundy wine, rich coloured smooth GARNETS have been added for a dressy look.
These silver HEARTS are gently puffy in the centre, and measure approx. 15mm in diameter & height.925 silver ear-hooks as well. (Artisan made).

Carnelian Drops - $38 - Sold

These silver Artisan-made Hand-woven 925 silver lentils are the same design as "MOONDROPS" below, but they are slightly larger.

Their diameter is approx. 18 - 19 mm, and are also gently puffy in the centre. They come with attractive smooth 4mm Carnelian beads.
Total drop without the ear-hooks is almost 3 cm (4 cm with the ear-hooks).
925 silver ear-hooks as well.

Silver Artisan-made Hand-woven 925 silver wire on 925 silver handmade woven hoops with lovely faceted moonstone rondells.
These silver 'lentils' are gently puffy in the centre, and measure approx. 15mm in diameter.

Petite bunches of "white grapes" made up of pretty white fresh water pearls, with leafy vineyard colours from multi-faceted shaded Vesuvenite in moss/olive greens & shaded Hessonite rondells in brownish/honey autumn tones.

These hang off 14K Gold-filled ear-hooks with a petite drop of 1 inch without the ear-hooks, and 1-1/2 inches with.

Chain and all accents are 14K Gold-filled.
